i hope they don't make a 4-door rsx. i think it would be nasty ugly.

it's like the 4th and 5th gen prelude, no more 4dr.
there will be NO rsx 4dr.
but there will be a 4dr 4-cylinder coming under the acura name.

I have heard that Acura/Honda was going to release a 4 door RSX in the next few years, but this was all just rumor and honda/acura were still considering it. Just the way the LS and Gs-R came in 4 door they were thinking about bringing the RSX in 4 door as well, but this is pure rumor. And IMO I hope they do not bring it. The RSX looks nice as a 2 door. The minute they bring the RSX in a 4 door it will look like a mini van. ::cross's fingers::: please don't bring it..

That's the niche the TSX is supposed to fill.

Which is even better because it will have double wishbone suspension, like all Hondas and Acuras are supposed to.

 

IMO the RSX is too squashed to ever look good as a 4 door. i guess the 4 door integ dies with the DB

 

Here in Canada we get the Acura EL which is a fancy 4 door Civic so I can't see an RSX 4 door coming. I do wish they'd make a Type S EL using the RSX motor instead of the SOHC 1.7 VTEC which only makes 127hp.

 

they should make a four door ....with the type s motor....but different rear and front lights, and double wishbone suspension....that would be sweet

It's fairly well known that Acura will release the TSX which is based on the new 03 Euro Accord which is smaller than the USDM Accord. Looks like it will have a 2.4L 180 HP and 2.4L and 220 HP in the Type S model. No rumors of a V6 engine. most likely will be mated to the RSX 6 speed or a variant of it which means the engine will be based on the K series also.
