Swapping trans, can I keep my drivetrain components?
Hi,
My brother has a 1990 STD hatchback with the 4-speed manual transmission. He's got 3 days off next week and we thought we'd swap his transmission out for the 91 Si one we recently bought, here comes the question. Can I just swap out the transmission without having to swap out my clutch and flywheel or would I need a flywheel and clutch that was intended for D-series motors equipped with 5-speed transmissions? Thanks to those who provide positive input.
