plain and simple, i have a 90 sedan 5sp and i want a new cluster. since i have a cable attaching to the speedo, how can i use a DC cluster or even a DA cluster?

i dont mean to sound stupid but its just a total different connection into the speedo / odometer. i had an EG which had an electrical connector to the back of the speedo and the same thing with a DC...so yea im confused on how i can make a new cluster work.
