Default need help on a engine bay suggestion

i want to paint my engine bay so black you can see your reflection and the engines reflection off of it. i have an idea to use black primer and either jet black or gloss black. now ive been told onix black is pretty dam dark too. any suggestions??

well since you from texas and " do crazy chit" why not paint it a bright highlighter color?
lol do granada black pearl or something

Im getting tired of seeing multi-colored/battleship grey engine bays.
They DO NOT look clean.
They DO look half assed and out of place.

Not when its shaved, tucked, and painted!!!!!



I dont like seeing cars when its say a black car that was painted white and left the bay untouched. Thats just tacky.

Some people pull their engine, tuck the wires, hide the brake lines, then have the bay professionaly painted...

Others, paint their cars a different color and leave the bay untouched.

True, but at a glance, all mismatched bays look like ****.

Like i said before, this IS just another trend that will peak and die off eventually.

and you didnt assume i had those same ideas when i posted a picture of my engine bay with nothing fuking inside of it or infront of it?? im not painting the car myself im just doing the prep work and then having it professionally shot and wetsanded/cleared

yep! and im pretty sure after im done with it, the difference from what i wanted and what ive got will be pretty close! but im fine with that. it took that paint job probably a couple of weeks to do, mine only took 6 days
