I am looking to sell the engine out of my teg. Here is the specs I have on it.

B18B1 Block with B16 head

Block from 96 LS
bored to 82mm with weisco 9.5:1 pistons
eagle connecting rods
stock LS crank polished and balanced
new water pump
ARP Head studs
ARP rod bolts (NOT INSTALLED but included)
Golden Eagle LS/Vtec conversion kit:
Oil filter sandwich adaptor with -6AN steel braided line to head
LS/Vtec dowel pins
LS/Vtec 82mm headgasket

B16 head from 2000 Civic Si - stock internals
AEM Tru Time adjustable cam gears

Will include P28 ECU chipped and socketed with Hondata S100 along with ODB2a to ODB1 jumper harness

Block has approximately 18,000 miles
Head milage is unknown. I just performed a leak down test and compression test 2 days ago. Leak down showed all 4 cylinders under 10% leak, and compression showed the following:
Cylinder 1 - 190
Cylinder 2 - 180
Cylinder 3 - 190
Cylinder 4 - 190

I can also redo these test to be witnessed and/or for pictures.

I have a little over $3000 into the block alone for parts and labor.

Asking $1500 for complete engine with ecu; $1350 without ECU and jumper

Engine is still in car and in drivable condition, anyone local is more then welcome to come check it out, hear it and go for a ride.

I can have engine out of car and ready to go in a day.

what kind of numbers did it make?Shipping?

 

I never had it dyno'd but before LS/Vtec it was fully built LS supercharged and made 145whp, wasnt happy with that so I sold top end and went LS/Vtec. WAYYYYY faster now on the butt dyno then when it was boosted.

You would be looking between 300 - 600 for shipping most likely depending if you needed lift gate service, residential or business etc etc

what is the p28 tuned for turbo or is it tuned for the way it is with the low compression pistons not turbo? if i can sell a couple things asap i will buy this i live in ocean city maryland.

 

Yes the P28 is tuned for the way the engine sits right now. Low compression no boost.

I have a potential buyer coming Monday for the engine, seems legit. I'll keep you guys updated as I am. I'm going today to start pulling out the engine.
