Just want to see where everyone is getting their power from for a Bosch 044 mounted inline using the supplied relay. Is there a stock fuel pump 12V trigger close by in the engine bay to pull the relay down to power the 044?

Do you put a fuse inline with the trigger wire as well as the main battery wire powering the 044? Please help me simplify my rats nest. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, almost forgot: 00 EK, stock wiring, stock fuse block, using T1 Bosch 044 fuel pump kit.

I thought so too, but the search sux. I have tried google and it only gives back stupid anti-theft toggle switches on the fuel pump. I assume there is a fuel pump relay under the hood, if so, then I will grab the 12V trigger there. Just thought I would get the definite answer here.

my bosch pulls less amperage than the stock pump, go figure?

 

How many amps is that?
