Default EM1 Daily driver coilover setup

I daily drive an EM1. 150,000 miles. Ordered an energy suspension hyper flex kit but havent decided on a set of coilovers. Leaning towards Koni/GC OR Tein super streets. Post up your opinion on the poll or make a suggestion otherwise.

if it's your daily driver i recommend dont drop it. i drive a em1 as well and it looks good just the way it is. if you plan to drop it drop it right and i mean cambers etc. i prefer a nice full coilover system but i was never a fan of coilovers i prefer lowering springs. but tein all the way.

i also have an EM1 and i putting on tein basic coil overs such a smooth ride, if your going to buy some coil overs make sure that you get name brand because in the end you end up saving more money in the long run. (dont get egay coil overs)

If your saying "coilovers" as in shock damper and adjustable spring then I'd look into the PIC's. I bought some about a month ago and it rides like a dream on my em1! I've had Tein Stech springs on stock shocks, Stech springs on KYB AGX shocks, Eibach sportlines on stock shocks, eibach's on tokico blues and skunk2 pro-s coilovers and not a single 1 of them compares to the PIC's. Not to mention with the PIC's you can adjust spring seat height or shock height. a.k.a. you can go as low as you want with little to no shock stroke loss (wont be riding on bumpstops). I ordered mine through Modern Honda (h-t marketplace) for $750 to my door and they were delivered within a week. I may sound like an advertisement or something but they have been one of the best investments I've made on my em1.

I have an em1 with tein basic damper coilovers that I daily drive. It's a comfortable set up. They even survived me putting it in the ditch this winter. I should add that I also have Skunk2 upper control arms and Skunk2 rear camber kit. I've lowered it maybe 2 to 3 inches and I have been able to readjust everything to stock alignment, which may be why its a comfortable ride.

D2s are nice. Koni Yellows and Ground Controls is a nice setup. However, a couple of my friends, including myself, have had problems with Ground Controls set screw getting stripped out. Go with Teins SS for comfort, baller status, and functionality!
