i have a 95 LX sedan 160k miles 32MPG bone stock...the car is super slugish like any other LX...but when i turn the ac on is just stupid, the car becomes a moped lol...have to put 2nd gear going up hill and have to almost redline the car to keep up with other cars normal driving lol...
how r urs??

I've got a DX hatch and I run with AC all the time. Not hot on the coast, but humid and my windows fog up without it. The car doesn't like going up hills in 4th/5th gear very much, but the AC has little do with that. I just filled up yesterday and did the math...got a SOLID 40 MPG. At almost 280K miles at that.

so would a minime swap inprove much more??? could i keep my stock AC and stock PS?
do any of you guys have this problem...i have a stock d15b7 and in normal driving i have absolutely no power from 1k to 4k rpms...after 4k rpms its another complete different car...it fells like vtec i swear lol...cloged fuel filter?

Don't know about the minime swap. My D15B7 does exactly the same thing...nothing until about 4K when it seems to kick in suddenly. I was wondering the same thing you were..."did someone swap heads on me? " If it is a clogged fuel filter, I'd like to know. If it's normal, I'd like to know that too.

my d15b1 felt the same way (i know i know OLD *** motor) when i had a b7 cam in it... my solution? i put a d16a6 cam with a y8 cam gear in it. really opens up the bottom end... and i'm rockin a 4spd tranny... just a thought for you guys
ok that makes me feel better then lol...so its not some problem that i have in my engine...all d series are slow from 1k to 4k...

dont see y couldnt keep them. and on my b16 with its awesome torque (ya right) i could feel a difference with ac on and off! not ALOT but i deff could feel it
ya i was out there for 2 weeks on vac once. ac was on ALL the time in the rental! but in PA its not to bad, so i usually just put windows down and open sunroom and im good to go!
. it takes 50 lbs off the front of the car anyways.
yes you can, has nothing to do with the head. si's (d16z6) came with ac too...
Mine feels like a turd with the A/C on. It's really annoying without cruise control though, because at 2800rpm cruising at 70mph or so, when the A/C cycles off, the car starts to move again, so constant pedal adjustment is required or else I end up speeding on freeways.
When I first bought the car I was worried it was the torque converter clutch letting go and reapplying for no reason XD.
Mine still has quite a bit of power, starting to question the black smoke at 4500rpm and beyond though... May need an oxygen sensor.
