Default JDm d15B

Alright so I have been hearing all of this talk about the D15b not having the oil pressure switch and yaddda yadda yadda. Here is the deal i have the JDM p08 square ecu that goes with that motor. do I have to still cut the USDM harness and conjoin the two wires to allow my v-tec to work or can i just plug in the v-tec since i have the ecu that coordinates with that motor? Is there also no knock sensor???

You will have to use the wires for the vtec solenoid and oil pressure switch from the JDM harness and should not have to cut the USDM harness. What car is this going into? If you are pre-wired for vtec from the shock tower to the ECU that will be the only thing you have to do.

It's all pre-wired and I have the USDM engine harness with a JDM ECU. So form what I know and have heard it should work without any splicing or cutting.
