Ok so I have had my 98 CL for 3 years now and just decided to put a head unit in it. Upon taking the dash out I noticed that there was some additional wiring ran to this block off switch. It made me wonder what option I am missing. I'm pretty sure nothing as the car has every option that I know of.

What is the button to the right of the clock supposed to be?
Since the CL and Accord use the same console is it just a dead switch to cover where the Rear defroster is on the Accord?

The bottom two blanks are for heated seats.

and FYI those other block off plates under your ash tray and cigerette lighter is for heated seats.

Now I guess I will have to go out and buy some OEM fogs.

 

OEM fogs on CL's look like doo doo. i wouldnt do it. im pretty sure CD Accord fogs work.

 

To the right of the clock? On my '97 CL, that's where the clock adjustment buttons are at. It looks like on the '98 and '99, the buttons are below the clock.

Where was the fog light switch on the 97's?

 

yea its a little different on the 97's. i believe ours would be by where the shifter is. one is for heated seats and the other is the fog light.

 

That's a bit odd. So I guess only the drivers seat was heated and passenger side had the fog light switch?

 

im pretty sure. the driver side block off has 2 buttons for both seats.

 

Yeah, there is 2 buttons for the heated seats on the driver's side. Heats up Driver and passangers. 1997 3.0 CL stock comes with it but the 1997 2.2 doesn't.

 

not all 3.0's. some 3.0's actually had cloth.
