I failed my 1st attempt of removing the type s mani, i only had two bolt left [the ones under the mani]. There was just no way i could have done it. Radiator gave me no space at all.. any advise ?

 

you took the TB off and the intake out and couldn't reach your hand underneath?

 

You have to get to them from underneath the car also in order to take off the the manifold it self you going to have to remove the two studs that remain that hold the manifold in place, off the head itself.......

 

Yes i took off the TB, made a mess. removed the CAI, i could reach but with the position given my strength just wasn't enough .. not even a budge

 

I have to lift up the car now ? there's a good amount of hoses under the mani so i doubt it.. I took off all the bolts off the head, it was the other two that didnt budge

 

dont you wish you had a civic..lmao

 

It's the people with civics that have k20 swaps that have no problem at all. So much space lol. I will try again on another free day.

yea lift that mug up, there is a really helpful install guide on clubrsx just type it in the search box and it will pop up

 

I remember taking off the manifold the first time.. PIA... But yes you must go from underneath. it's possible
