Check Oil Light and Car Dying
So i just drove around 80 miles round trip to compton and back and this is the first time ive had this problem with my crx 90 si. single zc engine.
When I am slowing to a stop light or for any other reason, I press in the clutch and I go down to about 750 or so rpms. Then the car dies and the battery and check oil level light comes on. When I got back to work I checked my oil level and it seemed fine. Its actually a little high, a little over the top notch.
Anyone experience this problem? No engine check lights either ><

Can you try something for diagnosis?
Put the handbrake on. Put the gear lever in 5th. Slowly release the clutch until the engine stalls. Does the oil pressure light come on at the same time it did earlier?
The oil pressure light is of course scary; however, it comes on whenever the engine stops unexpectedly as the oil pump is no longer turning. I think you just stalled the engine.

@kane: when/if I stall, only the battery light comes on. The oil light does not come on.
@d16: my friend that works at pepboys also said it wasn't the oil pump, I just spoke with him. He said it may be my idle air, and that goes right along with what you are saying. Ill check it and clean it out tonight. See if the problem keeps happening
