Hi my honda brothers, i recently bought a 96 civic ex 5speed. I have no problems with the car but when i drive it a bit hard, i would say after 4000RPM and shift, this "weird" sound comes to live.. sounds like a BOV.. i know is funny, but actually it is pretty annoying. Any help would be welcome, thank you guys!

NO.. no fake BOV. My D series is 100% stock. I just came back from the library, this is giving me headches!! but like i said before is not affecting my civics performance. BTW i've change the oil, spark plugs, coolant, power steering fluid, power steering belt. HELP?

 

Well, Nothing i know of makes a BOV sound when broken. Maybe you got the sound wrong. Video? Sound Clip?

 

Hi every one and thanks for the help. After 3 hours in the garage changing oil, filter, spark plugs, power steering belt, power steering fluid and recharging my a/c .. I discovered my alternator belt is about to go.. the sound is a bit louder now, but ill work on that on monday, tomorrow i will clean my EK, clay bar treatment, rubbing compound, and wax. Thanks guys!!!
BTW I have a Password JDM dry carbon fiber powerchamber air intake on the way
