idk if its out of the tranny yet but im sure thats it because the car wont even go into gear anymore. yet i dont understand why the car would lock up wont even roll and before it blew the wheels were still locked but would go into gear
it was probably broken from before, not the caliper. probably was engaging just a little.. maybe blew a gear and locked the trans up, and when you started "revving" it up a little it just let out and took a **** on you.
I agree with these guys, I would just put a new tranny on it sounds like you "forced" the clutch in gear and f'd up your tranny. Can you get the car into 2nd-5th gears and get it to move? How about while lightly reving the engine while trying to get it in gear? Is the transmission fluid filled to the appropriate level? Throw-out bearing?
Worse-case - take the tranny apart and have a look inside something like the issue you describe will be easy to diagnose with the transmission opened up. Either way, you are going to be dropping the tranny to correct the issue if your fluid isn't low.

Sounds to me like when the breaks froze up you blew your diff. If parts blew outa the tranny then its not even worth taking the tranny apart cuz the case is junk anyway... Id just get a new tranny, and if your buying a new tranny why not buy a b16 tranny and get more performance out it while you have it apart
thing is tranny was a b16 but now i cant find one wanna just bolt up a new tranny get my baby back up "**** on you" lol good way of putting it. didnt know the diff. could lock up my wheels and naw gear stick wont do anything no 2nd to 5th just stiff
