im trying to find out the code for the cel. its 4 long flashes, one very long flash then 7 fast flashes. can someone please tell what it is? i tried going to the code thread but it didnt have my code or probably im not reading it right. help would be appreciated. thanks!!!

 

What make, model & year is your car? & What light is it that is flashing CEL SRS or D4?

There are only long and short flashes for the check engine light. So I am going to assume that you are not reading the flash codes correctly. Where there any pauses between any of the flashes?

You may very well have a code 4 followed by a code 17 but without seeing the CEL flashes I am just guessing from what you have posted.

 

could it be 57? like for an evap code
i have obd2 so i'm not too familiar with it

From my lists code 92 is the EVAP emissions code for OBD1 MIL indication (CEL flashes) I have not run across a code 57 in Honda OBD1 code lists.
