0bd1 gsr in 98 teg shell
hi i have a 94 gsr engine, and i was wondering if i put that engine in a 98 gsr shell, do i have to change the 94 gsr engine harness into 98 gsr engine harness? i notice the 94 gsr is obd1, and the 98 gsr is obd2 correct me if im wrong? or can i just use the engine wires on the 94 gsr will it pNp? since both is gsr's.............. thanks for any advice!!!!!
OBDI and OBDII harnesses are different. You're going to have to get an OBDI harness and ECU.
I have to say it's also illegal in most states to put an older motor in a newer shell. The motor has to be the same year or newer than the car.

i cant change it to obd1, too many wires is it easier for me to change the obd1 motor to obd2 engine harness will it plug and play?
