Default Shifter cover

The black cover that covers the shifter in my 07 si has started to crack and peel. Is this part covered under the 3 year warranty? Thanks

the 3 year is "bumper to bumper" meaning it covers everything that is not a wear item.

Your boot is covered under warranty but now would be a good time to ask for the 08 one with the red stiching.

The shifter cover should be under warranty coverage.

my 08 has a chip in it by the ****, you can see the white underneath. too bad honda's quality has gone down so much . seems like my 99 gsr's interior was in better shape than my year old si.

Why not just upgrade the whole thing?

Mugen Quick Shifter= $239.00 (King Motorsports)
Leather shifter boot with your choice of stitching color= $48.95 (TWM)
Shifter base bushings= $19.95 (TWM)
Spherical cable bushings= $69.99 (Hybrid Racing)
Skunk2 shift ****= 49.99 (got mine at King Motorsports but they are everywhere)

When it's all said and done, you will have one nice shifter.

I would love to but I lost my job back in March and just got one last week. Will be awhile before I have extra cash.

Replacements from a stealership don't cost too much anyway. I think one guy got his for $15 but I'm not totally sure.

Ahh ok, in that case the dealership is prolly your best bet. Compare their price to the ones I posted here. Let me know if you need help finding any of the parts I posted here, already ordered most of that stuff myself.
