Default brake problem

I know this is a bad question to ask on HT from reading what Iv searched, but Im having a bad time with my ABS not working and it is getting annoying. I want to disable it without throwing a code and I found that if I take the 40a relay out for the pump motor the light stays off. will this be the same as not having ABS? I am use to not having ABS on other previous vehicals that I owned in fact this is the only car iv had that has ABS.

I have a 97 civic EX 4dr D16y8

Thanks

To do it correctly, you should remove the pump and all the other parts of the system. This will enhance the pedal feel even more since oyu are not having to deal with the pump.

Just pulling the fuse shouldnt make much(if any) difference. I would just leave the ABS alone if it is working.

possibly a master cylinder leaking by.

On the note of removal, you are going to get all of the engine bay/firewall lines from a car without ABS(or custom bend your own). As well as a correct proportioning valve for you brake setup.
