Default Transmission question

I have a DOHC ZC and its pretty much at the end of its life. I need to get a new motor in the car ASAP as it is my DD. I was wondering if the transmission off the ZC would be compatible with a D15 since the ZC is pretty much a D series motor anyway. Might be a stupid question but I tried searching and came up with nothing.

if the transmission is not a ZC transmission with intermediate shaft and equal length axles, it is compatible with a D15 - if it is a ZC transmission, it won't work as the D15 block has no place to bolt on the intermediate shaft - you might make the ZC work with custom axles
