Ok on 91 CRX HF, here are the probs.
When i try to open the doors with the power door thing using the remote, it wont push the door locks far back enough to open.
When i try to close the drivers door and its locked, it wont let me, is this normal?..

I have a DEI remote for this viper alarm, and it has 4 buttons (I, II, III, IV). I push I and it trys to open the doors but wont. II buton makes a lil red button flash on the dash, and the rest dont do anthing? Please someone help me out!

Well i figured out some more weird stuff. Basically like 1/10 times i try it, it will beep once, and both the doors will lock, then when it unlocks it beeps 2 times. Does anyone know how i can make it work everytime? could it be because of my battery being bad?
You need to get the actuator that is installed in the door adjusted so it will pull back the lock far enough. If your battery is low replacing it might fix your problems with the intermittent working. There is also a possibility that water got into the remote and is corroding the circuit board. You can take it apart and clean it with a cloth or compressed air. Lastly, you might just need a new remote. Should run you about forty dollars plus if the shop charges to program it. Good luck.
If I remember clearly...you just got this car right.....check to make sure that the wires on the battery posts are tight and don't have any corrision on them.

Well aight i did some weird tests.
I basically went where the alarm is, looked at all the wires, they all seem fine. Then i would try to get the doors to open, and like 1/10 times it would work.So i ran the car for alittle bit, like 1 min, then it would work on the 1st time and like 5 times after that. From this, i did it more times, and figured because my car battery isnt very good that may have to be the reason why
Tell me what you think. Thank you.
