Gsr intake manifold question !
Ok ! So I got a gsr head for my mild all motor ls-v. Was stoked intill.... I got confused with the intake manifold. Alright guys dont flame me ! I searched intill my eyes bled but not str8 answer on the topic of does a b16 mani fit onto a b18 (94-01) gsr head? Also... does a ls header fit A gsr head? Now ive heard the the ls dizzy works but i dunno. Lastly will p30 pistons have any piston to valve issues if i use um? Finally will ls injectors be good enough for this set up? Somebody told me to use h22 injectors and i was like oooo k? Not sure.
stick with manifolds strictly for a gsr, dont let some one take you on a sale cause they say its supposed to fit. no to the ls header and injectors, yes to h22 injectors as well as gsr, itr, ctr, dsm's and rc's
GSR can only use a GSR intake manifold, b16 and b18c5 are the same and all LS's are the same. None of these bolt up to the other.
The only difference is clearence, my buddy has a GSR header on his LS currently with no issues.
With the p30 pistons, I would clay the motor to be on the safe side, however maybe someone can chime in that has done it, or you might want to try over on the All-Motor forum.
If you end up using the p30 pistons, you will be ~12.1:1 with everything else stock, I would get some DSM 450's they are cheap and use a resistor box, alot of people use 310cc injectors though for mild all motor builds, but again it's like 60 bucks for DSM's
