Hey everyone, well im rebuilding my block because it's burning oil. So my plans are to supercharge my 97 civic and what im going to do is use.

OEM pistons (D16Y8)(75.5)
use OEM rods (D16Y5)(still 137mm)

Should i use OEM rings and engine bearing or can i use ACL bearing and Hastings Rings

 

when i rebuilt my em1, i used oem rings and bearings

 

the only reason i want to use acl is because there cheaper then oem

 

ya, ive seen people use them. but i just went with a full oem rebuild

 

where did you get your parts
