Default Tranny 4th gear problem.

Ok so I was doing some pulls down the street with my pretty much stock 04 em2 trying to see if that dynolicious app for the BlackBerry storm worked. On my second run i missed second rode down the street and stopped to turn around. as i was just driving down the street i notice going into fourth felt different. It felt like it wasnt really going into gear and kind of restricted and tighter. Whats wrong with iit? I don't see how anything could happen to 4th since Im sure I threw it into 2nd .

My first guess would be damage to the sync. from your shift miss. Maybe do a fluid change and look for any debris.

If you're feeling really adventurous; you could pull the transmission, split it open, and have a look inside. Otherwise it's pretty much a waiting game to see if your transmission is going to blow up.
