newbie here, I want nice clear usable driving lights for 02 coupe
Hello, I have an 02 Accord coupe and drive at night a lot. I was thinking of buying the factory fog light kit, and putting 55w driving lights at the end (would this work?). I also saw a $600 set of hid driving lights, not sure about that. What would you suggest. I'm looking for more light for seeing what's ahead, and not just looking cool. Any suggestions??? Thanks, David
get an HID conversion. Go on http://www.ebay.com and check em there.
I can't find the info but there is really great write up on HID that some guy did with his 4th gen accord.
anyone know where that is?

if u want more light without spending mucho dollars on an hid kit, id recommend for you to do a 9005 bulb conversion with sylvania silverstars
basically its using sylvania silverstars highbeam bulbs (9005's) in the place of your lowbeam bulbs (9006's)
done it to mine and havent had any problems, took me like 15 mins to do
and it works like a charm

where can you get sylvania silverstars for a good price? what is the actual "conversion"?
pick'em up at any kragen's auto parts
the conversion is using the 9005's which are meant for highbeams in place of your low beams, dont worry about blinding people beacuse it won't, if you look at the sockets of the 9005's and the 9006's you'll see very slight differences, the key is to make the 9005 fit into the 9006 housing, from what i remember all you have to do is file down the middle outer tab, and break off the middle inner tab, you'll know which tabs i'm talking about when you compare them
