What a brake light and attention to detail can cause
so my coworker has a 90 accord lx and he had a left inner brake light out so he went to autozone to replace it.. well he replaces the bulb goes home in the day time and everything is good to go. the following date he works late and drives home a when its beginning to dusk. the guy has about a 1 hr drive and normally uses criuse control. So he starts his drive sets the cruise control and then turns on his lights about half way all of sudden his cruise control turns off and starts hearing clicking noise. After trying to put the cruise control on 3 times he says screws it and goes drives without it. Well next day same thing occurs but now the clicking sound he acutally starts listening to which ended up being the autotranmission lock while driving it was unlocking itself and he ended up finding that out at 65 miles and hr. Lets just say he had a very eventful moment. The following day the guy come to work and now is automatic seat belt levers dont move. He has been checking this left and right so i say ok lets reset your computer and check for wires and stuff like that. Use multimeters, check lights, fuses are all good i am at lost . I checked HT and everywhere to see if anything remotely had ever happened nothing!!!
So i say just crash my place and work on it again tom. cool. So the following day comes and we are at work. Well for some reason he decides to check the light bulb that he replaced and looked at it well and there was a copper wire that was welded from the manufactuer from one end to the other and was causing it to draw power to brake light and all the other stuff to occur. Well we break it clean of the wires and by small **** it all stopped working. We said no that couldnt be it and then said lets get another bulb and solder it the way we got well damn it happened again. Split the wires and all is good again. That is the craziest thing i have ever seen. If anyone ever has the problem just double check your lights you never know what dumb things can occur.
