Good Piston/Cam combination for NA buildup?
I am currently looking at Type-S pistons and Skunk 2 stage two cams for a rebuild... I want a little more power than Type-S cams, but this car is an every day driver... Can anyone tell me a better combination, either pistons or cams? Thanks...
good question. I'm wondering the same thing. Everyone either keeps quiet about how well their stuff is working or hardly anyone upgrades the internals for NA on the H22A. I'll probably be using Type-S pistons as well but not sure whether I should go with Crower or Skunk2, or which stage...
I am going with Type-S pistons because of the coating on the piston walls that is supposed to be so fragile? Atleast that what I've heard... I figured that if Honda puts them in cars and says they'll make it 36k miles, they must be okay...

For my own car, i got an H23 block and some Type S pistons, putting me near 12:1
