Default Need a new transmission for my car but can I use a JDM one?

Hi guys!

Seems like my flywheel needs to be replace or some of the gears are mess up in my 96 auto ls transmission. Anyways, I wanna switch the transmission out but cant find one local. Ebay has a lot but most are JDM B18b(and at a good price to buy). So would it matter what type of transmission I put in my Integra as long it is a B-Series and it is automatic? or do I need one from a B18b1? Can I buy a JDM automatic transmission and swap it into my 96 LS? or how about a 94-95 transmission or not? Do I need any mod or conversion if the transmission is OBD1?

I am trying to switch it out and sell the car so I can go buy myself a RSX Type S or a GSR! Help me if you can, and yes I have my own mechanic to do the swap for me.

Thanks

I have a good condition Auto Tranny off my 97 Auto RS

I did the manual swap half a year ago

it has 90k km on it (60k miles) on it

let me know if you still want it

I can tell you that OBD2 USDM civic trannys were pretty much entirely electronically controlled while the JDM versions kept the manual kickdown cable OBD1 trannys had, making the newer JDM trannys incompatible with USDM '96 - '00 civics. Don't know if the B-series automatics are the same or not.
