so hate this new setup on honda tech and can never find previous blogs.
but my buddys runnig a ls/vtec (b18b1block with b16a2 head) i know it needs b16 head bolts and special dowl pins plus oiling. but do you have to buy a special head gasket or wich one do
i get?
also any one seen head studs without a alan in the top to remove them? not sure what brand it is

 

typically you buy the head gasket to follow the pattern of the head

acutually u need the ls since ure using the ls block......and use a drill to oversize the holes on the head gasket to fit the dowel pins.
