looking to reflash '06 s2000 ecu with hondata. I read that it changes the rev point to 8500k and vtec kicks in at 5600k instead of 6000k. Has anyone done this to there AP2,any pros or cons,and is there a noticable increase in power? Is there anyone with personal use of the reflash that can give some feed back.

had the hondata on my prelude... was great... vtec engages alot softer, not the typical "pop" you normally get... supposedly a well tuned vtec car is less drastic of a cam changeover, but i def felt a difference in the car. I loved my hondata.. it was the S300 so a reflash from hondata i would assume would be just as nice.

They sell one for a stock S2k and also one with the Toda Race header. I would invest in the header and toda exhaust and then send the ecu. Im trying to get an s2k very soon...and i will definetly get the Hondata reflash and the Toda header/exhaust setup.
i heard the reflash works with other set ups...but if hondata chose to reflash with the TODA header...im sure its a well built piece of metal.

Thank you for your feed back hondata with toda header sounds good. I have no mods on my ap2 yet, just had her for 4 weeks now. I just wished i got one sooner. I'm hoping to do some mods before next summer, and also put her on a dyno before this winter to see how much i'm getting to the wheels in stock form. I will post my results in near future.
