Alright Sooo i've been trying to do my own little bit of research on flaps, ran into a few threads that were helpful but still haven't found an answer to satisfy my curiousity so my situation/question is...
I've got a 96-98 hatch and i've sourced a set of 99-00 coupe/sedan flaps relatively low priced, now my questions are
1) has anyone retrofitted a set of 99-00 coupe/sedan flaps on 96-98 hatch bumper? if so pictures?
As far as the rears concerned i've seen comparisons between the two generations of bumpers

vs.

obviously these flaps can fit with a little fab work but i'm just wondering exactly how good of a fit i can expect with these flaps?
Thanks in advance all!

Also, that's a sedan at the bottom, but my coupe up top.
Coupe and sedan rear bumpers are the same for '96-'98. Coupe and sedan rear bumpers are the same for '99-'00.
Hatch rear bumpers are all the same for '96-'00.
California isn't that far... Just do it with tracking numbers or something.
Remember both of these parts are discontinued and only a limited number are out there. Cutting up TWO sets of mudguards is stupid (I think doing it to one is stupid). It's not too difficult to find the correct mudguards. It just takes a little waiting usually. This time someone brought them to your attention very early on.

Some parts just aren't plentiful enough to be able to do local all the time.
I think a lot of people in populated areas get spoiled because of that. Back east I NEVER was able to buy anything locally for my car besides fluids and stock stuff that was still in production.
I moved out to WA and there's a lot more aftermarket support locally.
