Hi I just wanted to see if anyone here haves a EG with EK front end.

I have a 92Cx with EK front end, i made the conversion on 2004!, im sure there should be a few here in H-T, right?

I think you did a great job. It looks almost like it came that way from the factory. I usually am not a fan of front-end conversions, but this one rocks.

So, can you tell us more about it? How did you go about the conversion? Any pictures of the install process?

 

^^u need to cut and weld the EK rad support to do it. looks good dude and i would get a FAT ticket if i had my windshield tinted lol

 

tinted front window? that's madness i tells ya! lol.. i want to do that to my truck lol...

I dont have Pictures of the process , But basically you need the whole front end from a EK (hood, Radiator support, fenders, bumper, grill, headlamps offcourse hehe) and you need to change the radiator support, and cut the EG and EK fenders, weld them and do some body work. Overall its not that hard...

And about the tinted windshield, basically all cars here have it tinted. You will get a ticket for having any tint on the windshield.

I think is just that right now after 4 years of been parked on my house (outside), it looks kinda F*ckup!, but im going to fix it! and make it look good again!

yeah i seen a flat black 4dr eg with the bugs and had the type r wing spoiler.
it looked midevil. id drive that everywhere. but like i said il never be able to find a teg front end ever around here

 

sorry it dont look right to me. the fitment look off too i prefer the EK conversion over teg. Thumbs up to whoever own that car.

i want to tint my winsheild but its illegal here, and the ticket is crazy.

 

EG hatch with EK front end is my favorite, it looks so good this makes me want one even more. Too bad I cant find a hatch that wasnt molested.

 

the hatch with the dc front end looks discusting.
gaps are way off, and the color is horrible.

To each his own who thinks this is eye candy but these conversions are certainly not my cup of tea.

 

I'm with pat ^. The OP's conversion came out clean, but for every one clean one that's done there are 15 more that look like that green hatch above. gross.

This is like team-integra.net status, etc. I hope many EG enthusiasts steer away from this habit.
