ok, 92 civic lx, just swapped a b16a into it. the b16 ran great when i pulled it. it came from a ef but i switched everything over to obd1 (intake mani, dizzy, injectors, etc..). i got all the codes taken care of except the TPS (code 7?) it idles fine but then a little after letting it run if you hit the throttle then it wants to die. so i was told to switch out the outside wires. i did that, and the exhaust manifold turned cherry red. so its running lean, but how? plugs are new, injectors are perfect, its open down pipe. it didnt turn red till after i switched the wires around. so can someone help me out? im tired of driving a 95 taurus around, i want my car back

what wires did you switch around? spark plug wires?

 

i would put the wires back to where they where origanily and just buy a new throtle body than you know the tps sensor was good. my car did the same thing and i just put a new throttle body on it and it runs great
