I have a problem, my intermediate shaft snaps on the splines in the diff.. (Diff is welded)
If I launch my drag car at 6000plus its snaps on demand

Setup:

i only make 280WHP
26inch slick
H22. with an H tranny
90-93 accord half shaft
Drive shaft shop axle and hub assem
Twin Disc Clutch

I was wondering if the problem would be welded diff?? or weak intermediate?? Both??

Industry professionals have given me many opinions. But that resulted in different answers.

One says: switch to prelude half and a quaife.
Second says: 300M Cromoly shaft.
Third says: a Diff or spool.

Has anyone ever had this problem, what was done?? of some advice would help??

try letting the clutch out slower i launch my b16a at 8k on stock axles with slicks and preload with the e brake if you arnt already

 

i have been preloading.. that why im asking
