Default Help with making clear of a extreme performance engine/tranny swap

New to foriegn car rebuilding, want to give it a try. I have an 89 Honda Accord DX, and want the best engine/trans that will fit and give me the most POWER. Extreme Power is what I'm looking for. The battery will be moving to the trunk. The ac unit will be removed and not replaced as I never use ac in my car anyway. The car is now stock w/ auto trans and I want to have a 5 speed manual trans.

These are the engines I'm looking at through the research I've done...
1) F22 from a 92-96 prelude
2) B17a1 from a 92-93 Integra
3) B16B from a 97+ Civic
4) B16a From a 92+ Civic/DelSol

Hey anyone know whats up with the C30A from the NSX, That has an awsome power range. More than likely would never fit. Would be totally sweet if it could and would be a real one of a kind.

Well, never got any hits on this so I'm still looking at possible motor swaps and am looking for a swap that is unic in a 3rd gen accord dx. Anyone have something they would like to see in this car that has not been over done to death.

I have went through some of you'r post's and wow.
With the money you'r going to spend on a swap $X,xxx's why dont you just yank the closed deck iron block and build hard core 35 psi turbo charged "A".

This sounds like an idea. So, what are some of the things I so start looking for. The turbo for one ( the motor is carbed and would like to maybe keep it that way). I do kknow you can turbo a carb but what is the best way for this? I've come across so many debates on this it makes my head spin.
As far as the block goes bore it .40 - .60 add some forged pistons maybe. This would help right? Where or who makes the better pistons, rods, rings and mains for this possible engine mod?
I was thinking about having the Intake and Exhaust valves made larger for on the head, any thuoghts? I was also looking into Knife edging the crank shaft. I think it's called that, having a brain fart.
I know i'll need so much more any help would be greatful.

Alright, really not trying to be a dick, but a statement like "add some forged pistons maybe" just tells me you have no clue. I suggest you go to your local bookstore and buy "How to Build a High Performance Honda/Acura" Its a great resource. It won't say **** about A-series motors, but it gives you a pretty good background on honda motors.

Concur.

If you're looking for "extreme power" swap in a B or H or K series and throw massive amounts of boost at it.

No, they're not going to "bolt" in, but then again you're going for "extreme" so make them fit! Make it work! Anything is possible and these swaps are actually quite easy. Level the engine up, weld the mounts, custom axles and shift linkage. Boom, done.

A C30 shortblock from Honda cost $25,000 and about $10,000 used. That would be unique in a old caruerated accord. Uh go for it!!!!!!!
