Nastiest Interior Detail Ever!
I thought I would post this up to show the other side of auto detailing. I love looking at all the exotics, and nice cars being worked on. However this will show the other side. A total P.O.S. I bought this car extremely cheap in a non-running state. It is now running, but you can see the bigger issue is the condition of the car especially the interior. I will be working on this in my spare time, and will be time consuming. I may even sell this car on ebay when complete just to show exactly what a detail can do when selling a car.
I have had this car for almost two years, and had it stored in a outdoor lot. It has def had some inhabitants in this time. There are signs of mice, and even atleast one snake lol. Here are some before pics of the nastiness.
The subject vehicle. 95(I think) Nissan Altima

This is after picking up garbage too big for shop vac.

and the money shot.

Should make for some good before and after pics.

Well i would if I were to actual keep this car, but the name of the game here is to make $$$$. Obviously it is not going to come out perfect, but it should be 1,000 times better. The car has been shop vac'd, and seats will be coming out later tonight.
Time = Money.
Too much time cleaning = Too much money lost!
Get a new carpet and call it a day! You'll probably still make money off of it when someone sees it and goes "DAMN THAT'S CLEAN! Heres my money!"

id worry more about that rust starting at the rear door sill than the carpet. your best off removing the carpet itself and getting a GOOD cleaner or a carpet shampoo'er from the grocery store or whatever
Reinforcements arrived yesterday.

I think I might have a carpet from a car I parted out, but will see how this one comes out before doing that. I bought this car for $200. And have a couple more into it in parts. I will clean it up the best I can, and how good it turns out will determine how much I ask for it. I will not be touching the rust, or covering it up. It is what it is. I should have some time on Friday to get scrubbing on this will post pics up as soon as i get some progress made.
I am hoping to cover the cost of the new extractor, or come close to it.

That's not THAT bad. When the seats and headliner match the passenger front carpet of your car, then we can talk. Until then, remove the carpet, heavily shampoo it and power wash it. Dye it if the stains are too stubborn. Steam clean the rest.
Good luck bro I want to see after pics!!!

I got the seats removed, and steam cleaned just the bottom rear. It came out pretty good so far, but will need to be gone over again once it dries. The water is solid black went through 4 gallons on just this seat all of it was the same color.
Before didn't look all that bad.

As soon as I sprayed it with the pre-treatment nasty stains were drawn into the fabric. I steamed the crap out of it and went through almost 5 gallons. The jug is a sample of what was extracted.

Here is a pic held up to light so dirty light wouldn't even pass through it.

Front seats are next then carpet.

I really hope you are wearing mask and such to protect yourself from all of this nastiness, especially since you knew mice/rats/snakes were in the car... ACK!
I just got hooked up with my old CarBrite distributor, and placed an order for some chemicals should be in Tuesday. I am on a nasty work streak of 8 days straight so I am not gonna have much time to work on it. I hope to have seats and carpet done by the end of the weekend.
I got mine from www.detailking.com. They matched the lowest price I found on the internet, and threw some other hoses in. They have excellent customer service from my experience. They even called me a couple days after I got it to make sure it was ok, and to see if I had any questions. Was about 1350 shipped... It weighed about 120 pounds for shipping.
