I have a 98 gsr and I'm throwing a CEL. So I went to Autozone to check it out and the guy told me the scanner wouldn't power on. He said that usually it's the cigarette lighter fuse that prevents it from powering and that it might be blown. So I checked the fuse and it's fine. Anybody else have this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated

for the time being use a paper clip jumper down by the passenger footwell to read the cel.
