Help - My '95 Accord Will Not Start
My 1995 Accord has been difficult to start for a few months now, mostly when it has been raining or damp outside. I thought this was because the plug wires were old and worn.
When replacing the plug wires I noticed that the wires for cylinders 1-3 were covered in oil where the wire meets the plug. I tightened all of the plugs, 1-3 were a bit loose, and installed the new wires.
After installing the new wires I tried to start the car and it still did not start. Now, it seems that the starter is not engaging when I turn the ignition key. The starter turns and makes a weird noise but it does not seem to be turning over the engine.
Is it possible that the starter gear is stripped or broken? Is the oil on the plug wires a sign of the problem? Is it possible that the engine is hydrolocked with oil?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Define 'difficult to start'. At this point you need to start with the basics. look at the crank pulley while cranking. If the crank turns, remove the oil cap and see if the cam turns while cranking. Define ' weird noise'...
