Anyone Wanna Guess My Compression For Me?
Whats up, just picked a clean 93 si with a built GSR. First all motor car. Here is the run down. I am at 1634 elevAtion.
Block-
JE 11.5.1 comp pistons
Eagle rods
ACL race bearings
ARP head studs/rod bolts
new oil pump
all oem gaskets and seals.
Head-
Skunk2 pro 2 cams
Rocket Motorsport full valve train gen 1
Blox intake manifold
RC 310 injectors
Golden Eagle pro series fuel rail
B&M fpr and gauge
Full king stud kit for intake manifold
mild port and polish
oem head gasket
custom tuned ss intake with blox filter with velocity stack
Omni Power Throttle Body
Exhaust
SMSP header jet coated
Megan Racing muffler
magnoflow high flow cat
custom 2.5" piping
Trans
Type R usdm trans with 4.4 final drive and new Gearspeed 1,2 synchros
spoon flywheel
competition stage 3 clutch
What can I guess my compression be with the pro2's and the 11.5-1 pistons. Any guess would be cool. Car is tuned on s300 about 206whp. Also what kinda quarter mile times should i be looking for when I take it to the track? Thanks everyone!

Your compression isnt high enough for those cams.Elevation has nothing to do with your compression ratio mill the head or get diffrent pistons.I have 11:0:1 srp pistons with pro 1 cams and still not enough compression with 0.30 off my head i would get stage 2 skunks with that setup.

Also what pistons would you reccomend me for these cams? And am I even gonna make that much more power on stock bore? thanks for the help.
Those cams have alot of duration man. skunk2 pro cams need alot of head work and compression to make them perform how they should research them people are always using s2s2 or bc cams not many people use pro cams unless its a full blown drag car im not a fan of the pro cams i have used 2 sets and didnt have good luck but many people might.
They seem to run pretty good in the car, idel is rough. I am still working out the kinks of the car. Any guess's of my compression? Also what are the cons of these cams?

Also, at higher altitude, air density and atmospheric pressure are less than at sea level, don't you think that will have an affect on Dynamic CR?
They idle fine, just rough, sounds good. Everyone on the forum says p30 pistons would be good for s2p2's. If that is the truth, I don't see why my JE 11.5-1 would be to little compression. The dyno graph is smooth, the car pulls great. Just wondering what you think my overall compression would be.
all-mtr-teg Do you think the cams are too big for my setup?

Who said anything about idle problems or tuners man one of the top tuners in the country tuned my car so dont even tell me to find a better tuner.Simply the kid posted what he had and of course hes going to get a million diffrent opinions.I DONT THINK 11 :5:1 COMPRESSION IS ENOUGH FOR PRO 2 CAMS.
**** like this is why i kinda just come here to laugh. you would have to be completely nuts to build a motor on the info based on this site if the date of the post is after about may 05, and posts like this are why.
OP, start contacting tuners. chances are there are 50 motors identical to yours floating around and one or more of them have tuned them. ask them how they ran. ask for a basemap. talk to the guys with a dyno and a brick-n-mortar shop front. you wont get help here anymore.

Well the cat was tuned on s300 at kingmotorsport and runs great. I've also sent motor specs and dyno graphs to Jeff at evans and be likes what he saw. Neither shop said anything about the cams being to big.
I'm simply wonder if someone coils guess my overall compression.

love this compression calculator.
if you know all your specs this is pretty accurate

what block/crank/head are you using? any bore on it?
length of rods?
dome and compression height of pistons?
what type of head gasket?
Head or block shaved at all? if so how much?

Well just from the calculator it is around 11.34-1 with out the adding of the cams. So can anyone throw in a guesstimate?! 11.7-1?
