Default How to tighten JRSC supercharger belt?

I'm getting belt squeal at high rpms and losing boost. I wanna tighten my supercharger belt but not sure how to do it. I have an Integra JRSC.

Do I just loosen the nut on the 10mm adjustment bolt and tighten the bolt and then retighten the nut? Do I have to loosen the bolt on the idler pulley as well?

Thanks in advance

I would probably ask around here, maybe someone has the new link to the hostboard (JRSC discussion board), i can't seem to access it no longer.

its been such along time since i've had the supercharger i can't remember, but i remember replacing and tightening the belt on the POS charger.

Yes, you will need to loosen the bolt on the idle pulley as well.

the new hostboard link.

To tighten the belt, you need to do the steps you mentioned. You will also need to loosen the bolt behind the idler pulley, so the arm can swing.

Exactly...there 2 bolts, one facing the passenger side and one facing the drivers side. You need to loosen these bolts, and then the arm with the idler pulley will be free to move. Push down on the pulley and retighten the bolts, then use the 10mm screw to keep the pressure on the idler pulley onto the SC belt.
