my stereo disprogramed itself. And I need the code. I know I can call honda,But im in mexico. I was wondering if anyone worked at honda that could help me out. its an 06 ridgeline vin 2HJYK165X6H527145.

Check for the code on a sticker in the glove box or the driver's door jam...

 

already did. im the second owner of the truck.

 

I'm not a dealer so can't look up the VIN to get the code.

You get 10 attempts at the 5 digit code and then you will have to keep the radio on (with no sound) for an hour to reset and try again.

If the code is not on a sticker in the glove box, then try under the lid of the engine bay fuse box, the owner's manual... You can try Owner's Link with your VIN # to see if they have the code...https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login....d%5Fhome%2Easp

 

give me the radio serial number and i'll get you code, cut your radio off and hold preset buttons 1 and 6 then cut radio back on and that will get the serial number, then we can go from there
