Default Finishing up MPFI on my DX..... help me make sure my timing is INDEED set

Okay I swapped on a a6 head and intake manifold over the weekend.....but due to having to work and time restrictions its taken longer then wanted......

Well Ive finished everything up to where.....alls I have left is the throttle cable to put on.....and a tiny bit of wiring at the ecu....but everything else in the engine bay is done.

I want to make sure my timing IS correct....I used the SI distributor...that was already on the head....I didnt touch the dizzy or anything so the ignition timing is set....at where it should be stock timing......

Now I set the Cam gear to TDC......Cam mark UP...facing UP and the two horizontal lines are even with the cylinder head.....

Then I found my Three lines on the Crank pulley....and the one that is a few inches away from that......and set it to the lone one that was a few inches away so now that is at TDC.......

With my Cam at TDC.....and the Crank at TDC...and the A6 Distributor set where it should be becuase it was never removed......am I ready to roll......

Ive already got the Belt back on and everything I just want to make sure?

You have the cam timing right. For clarification, ifyou already have it this way it's good to go, the crank has the 3 marks and then a 4th marks that is NOT grouped with the other 3. That is the TDC mark (and is white in color if it's not dirty). You must have the lower timing belt cover installed to set the crank timing correctly. Looking down at the crank pulley from the valve cover area, you should be able to see 2 small timing features on the lower belt over. You must look at the upper feature, and move your head so that the lower feature is directly behind it (so you can't see it). Then, rotate the crank as necessary to align the TDC mark on the crank puley behind the 2 plastic features. You are now ready to go with the timeng belt!

If you have done that, then your timing is set. Your car should start just fine, but you will need to set the ignition (distributor) timing even though you left it just like you got it. It was set for a different car with different wiring, ECU.... so it may not respond exactly the same in your car.
