Default OK here goes! CODE 20?

OK need some help here. The chassis is an 91 CRX HF. I have an lsvtec that we just converted to obd-1. Used the RYWIRE conv. harness. Used a JDM P30 ecu. Touched the two wires that read the cel's. I have 2 long flashes. Am I correct it being code 20?
Code 20 is ELD. Anyone else run into the same code? Did some searches and could be grounds, Alt, etc.....NO codes when the two wires are touching. THANKS

check the pinouts. make sure the stock harness eld wire does infact go to the proper spot on the conversion harness and into the new ecu.

also if you were running obdo with the ls vtec before you did the obd1 conversion the eld wire is cut or removed because in that spot the obd0 vtec wire goes. so its possible the wire is switched in the harness before the jumper. this would only be the case if you were using a pr3 or pw0 ecu before. they do not have eld and have the vtec wire in the pin others ecus would use for the eld.

The simplest solution would be to just eliminate the ELD check in the ECU.

actually, the PR3 and PW0 have the knock sensor at ECU pin B19, which is the same location as the ELD on the USDM ECUs
