Im trying to swap the head on my stock d17b7 for a d16z6 head. ive read the tutorial in the FAQ already and have all the parts i need except for the z6 dizzy.
I was recently told that i could use the d15b7 dizzy and VTEC will work...but i always thought they were different. has anyone used the non-VTEC dizzy and had it work??? i appreciate anyone's help. thanx

 

The mounting flange is different between the two. You can use a D15By distributor, but you will only be able to get one bolt in. Electronically they are the same.
