Wheel Bent a little back help?!
I have a question as to what my problem might be. I wiped out a little the other day and bent/broke my drivers side axle. My wheel rubbing the back of my fender towards the door. I changed the axle out but havent taken my car off the stands. tHERES still a 1 1/2 inch difference from the right side. It stilll looks bent a little back. Will it kinda go back to place when i lower the car? Would a simple alignment fix it? Is my lower control arm?? it looks fine. thanks!!
if an impact was so hard that it bent or broke your axle than I'm sure you have other suspension problems as well. You can not 'eye-ball' metal to see if its bent, take it to a suspension shop for a diagnostic.
lower control arm is probably bent. but you can always loosen up your subframe bolts and pry the subframe forward and tighten them back down at the same time. your caster is probably horrible.
I lowered my car and tried drving it out of the garage but couldnt. It makes like a clunking kinda sound. Could it be my axle...I did buy an aftermarket and had to disasemble it..
