integrating PLX wideband with hondata
sorry if this is kind of beating a old horse but, ive found so many different opinions while searching that iam kind of lost. ive got a plx SM-AFR and iam using hondata S300. my wideband is on all the time anyway's so i was thinking since the SM-AFR has a analog port on the back with an open wideband and narrow band signal, couldn't i take the wide band signal and just run that to a input on the ecu like d10 eld and just set some voltage calibrations? i was going to leave the stock o2 for its narrow band signal. this was my idea all the other sources talk about adding resistors or taking them out and other stuff, this seems like the easiest way to install it, ive been wanting to integrate my wideband for some time to play around with the auto tune settings. if you got any suggestions or a great way to wire it up please help thanks.
You can wire both the wideband and the narrowband output into the ecu and take out your stock o2. I have mine wired into d10 and the narrowband into d14 and use it for closed loop. Do some actual street tuning and forget about the Auto Tune settings. I dont know of anyone that uses that to tune.
awsome so there are no reistors or anyhtign needed? its been street tuned. it would just be nice to have it wired in basically. what did you use for the voltage calibrations? also d10 and d14 work for a obd II vhecile harness? i have a jumper harness should i be looking for d10 and d14 on the ecu side of the harness?
