Default stripped threads for oil pressure sender :(

i just got my block back and noticed that when I threaded in the oil sender unit it would just barely tighten up then just keep going.
how should i go about fixin this? some people said i could jb weld it and use teflon tape but i know that tapping it is the correct way. The only problem with that tho is then the threads will be to large of diameter and the unit would not screw in still.

what do you guys think i should do or is there another option?
thanks

Take it to a shop. Shouldn't be too hard for them to re-tap it, or use a helicoil for it.
