HT I need your help.Let's see where to start.I did a swap a few weeks ago and the car doesn't seem to want to start or crank,it does nothing.I checked all the grounds, tried 2 starters, the battery is good, ecu is plugged in and there are no CEL.The only thing I can think of is the alarm. Its about 8 years old and when I went to arm it,it made a weird noise and now it doesn't come on at all but when I plug in the alarm the corner lights and rear lights come on.The alarm is a old code alarm.Has anyone had this problem or heard about anyone having this problem.I'm stumped and can't think of anything else.Any and all help will be greatly appriciated.Thank you in advance and sorry for the essay.
The only reson the alarm would have anything to do with it is if it has a starter cut relay installed, then it could be a problem with alarm, wiring or the starter cut relay itself.
What is the MM&Y of the car?
Is the car an automatic or a standard?
Try a bypass jump, using a jumper wire, [12ga min.] connect one end to batt. pos.(+) and touch other end to starter solenoid terminal, BE CAREFUL, make sure car is not in gear, engine will crank even if in gear and key turned off. 94

I opened the unit up, and one of the microtrollers on the board was definitely rooted. Rang the alarm distributer here in NZ, and they said I was quite lucky that the car would actually run, as it would seem that having the flasher control unit burn out is fairly common, and usually it also takes out the immobiliser relay control too.
tl;dr
I think your alarm is stuffed. Time for a new one.
