Electronic Climate Control making noise
Hi, All,
My car has an issue, that I could use some advice with.
Particulars: 2001 Honda Accord EX V6. 110,000 miles. Lovely ride in an otherwise excellent condition. All stock except brakes, tires (boring, I know).
Issue: Electronic Climate Control works well for both heat and cold, except sometimes it goes on these tirades, where an audible noise is clearly heard, as if there is a servo spinning back and forth trying to adjust something. Lasts 1/2 minute to a minute at a time. If Climate Control is turned off, the noise goes away immediately.
All ideas welcome and most appreciated. Apologies, if this question had already been answered -- I searched the best I could.

Try this article even though it is for a Nissan. http://en.allexperts.com/q/Nissan-Re...-Maxima-SE.htm
Thanks, Robert,
This is an excellent write-up. However, the noise in question is clearly in the dash somewhere, and pretty close to the surface if I judge by the sound of it. Under the hood, where the compressor lives, everything sounds like new.
