Blinker issue
I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX (2dr) Both my left and right blinkers have started blinking 2x the normal rate, which I know generally indicates a bulb issue. However, the fast blink only happens when the headlights are on and just recently started with the left (was just on the right about a week ago). It's the first time in the 9 years I've owned the car I've had this particular issue.
Before I go ahead and replace the bulbs:
1. Could it be a fuse instead as it only happens with the headlights on(perhaps the flasher under the dash instead)
2. Is there a considerable difference/preference between the Iridescent vs Amber bulbs (Sylvania 1157A or 1157AST)

Are all signal bulbs working, just faster blnking than normal? And this problem only occurs with the headlights on? Does it also happen with only the parking lights on? Any other odd electrical problems?
Are stock bulbs currently installed?

all signal bulbs do work - just blinking faster when headlights are on. I didn't test with just the parking lights (will do after work) other than that, no other odd electrical issues.
