Car Shaking at Stop Lights with A/C on at 75,000 anyone experience this?
The biggest thing that was bothering me was the car shaking at stop lights. I am in PHX and the A/C is always on high and since about 40,000 it shakes at stop lights and the lights dim at night when the A/C kicks. Around 70k it got worse and I thought it would die. I replaced the spark plugs which helped a bit but was amazed when I replaced the battery. The original battery died at about 55k and I replaced it with a mid priced battery from WalMart thinking a battery makes no difference. Well it died last week (after a very short life) and I was near an AutoZone so I bought their top of the line battery. The car no longer shakes...at all at stop lights. In fact, after changing the battery, the car has more power and it runs quiter when stopped. I knew the spark plugs would help, but the battery made a huge difference all around. It seems to shift differently (different intervals) and I don't have to stomp on it to get it to go when its 115 degrees and the A/C is on high.
The original brake pads lasted to 70k and I drive aggressively...and have it serviced at Earnhardts Honda who always checked the pads and they didn't need to be replaced. That seems excessively long to me but I have been impressed with this car since I bought it.
SUN VISOR HELL
Both sun visors have been replaced three times so I finally put two big metal binder clips on the back side and haven't had a problem since. Everything works as normal and you can even use the mirror. It looks like crap from the inside but it works and the car is out of warrantly so no free visor replacements.

My car shakes more than normal when the AC was on. Small motor plus the drag of an AC system. Then think about how hard your engine has to work to try and charge a crappy battery, add the two together and it can cause some serious shakes. The load becomes more than your engine can handle at a normal idle.
